Adding a main challenge image
The main challenge image is an image that you can add to the challenge page to add visual interest and set the tone of the challenge. The main challenge image is displayed on the challenge page, beneath the short brief and above the posted ideas.
To add a main challenge image:
1. Go to challenge management, and click 'Edit' for the challenge to which you'd like to add the image.
2. In the challenge set-up area, go to the Media and Files tab.
3. Either drag an image from your computer into the large space that says 'Main challenge image' or click on the 'Attach image' button in that area and browse for the picture that you want to add.
4. When your image has uploaded you will be able to see it in the box, click save to save your changes.
For best results, your main challenge image should be 1024 x 240 pixels
If you want to remove a main challenge image, click on the bin icon in the bottom right hand corner of the image.
Good to know
If you don't want a main challenge image, just leave this box blank (don't upload a file) and the Crowdicity software will automatically adjust the layout of your challenge to accommodate your choice.
Adding a challenge listing image
The challenge listing image is the image that will be shown when viewing a list of challenges e.g, on the home page or the Challenge Directory page.
The challenge listing image is displayed in two different sizes.
Depending on its context, the image is cropped to:
318 x 195 pixels on the challenge directory page
464 x 302 pixels on the standard home page
We recommend that you upload an image that is at least 464px wide, though do remember that the sides will be a little cropped on the challenge directory page so you should keep any important text or imagery in the middle of the image.
If your challenge listing image is bigger or smaller than the sizes above, the Crowdicity platform will scale and crop the images to the relevant size; if you upload a very small image, it may result in a very blurry challenge image.
To add a challenge listing image:
Go to challenge management, and click 'Edit' for the challenge to which you'd like to add the image.
In the challenge set-up area, go to the Media and Files tab.
Either drag an image from your computer into the space that says Challenge listing image or click on the Attach image button in that area and browse for the picture that you want to add.
When your image uploaded you will be able to see it in the box click save to save your changes.
To remove a challenge listing image, click on the bin icon in the corner of your uploaded image
Adding files to your challenge
You can upload other images or files to a challenge, these files will be visible underneath the Full brief when a user clicks on the 'More' button.
To add additional files or images to challenge:

Either click ' Attach Files' or drag and drop a file into the grey box.
You will be able to see that files that you have attached to the challenge in the area to the right of the 'Other files or media' box
If you are dragging and dropping a file onto the challenge, make sure that you drop it in the grey box, not the list of files.
If you would like to remove any files that you have added, click on the cross next to the name of the file in the file list.
